A Major Setback

Not good today,

I've found out I can't get the loan I need for my studies. I'm really trying hard to not get despondent, I've got to finish my charity research today after my REPS assessment, but right now I'm just trying not to cry...

I want this so badly and now I'm not entirely sure what to do.

  1. When I was raising money for my gap year abroad, I went to the library and spent a good couple of days reading through a book with a bunch of trusts and charities in it. I'm trying like to remember what the book was called, but I'm sure it's one of those stock library things.

Anyway, I sent off about 200 personalised letters to those trusts and charities and foundations and even though I only got two responses, I ended up with an extra £1000 in total! Sometimes the money is there, and people want to give it to you, you just need to find it and let them know you need it! It took me about a week to get all of that done, and a small fortune in stamps and envelopes, but very very worth it. And it would help if you're planning on doing some charity/social/teaching work with your drama once you've finished the course. :)

It was something like one of these books. Your library is bound to have at least one of them.
